LOS ANGELES, California (July 26, 2005) — Square Enix, Inc., the publisher of Square Enix™ interactive products in North America, today announced that FINAL FANTASY XI: The Vana'diel Collection will ship to retailers on August 16, 2005. Including the expansion packs Rise of the Zilart®, and Chains of Promathia™ as well as Tetra Master®, the wildly popular and addictive mini-game, FINAL FANTASY XI: The Vana'diel Collection will provide the easiest installation ever of the first cross-platform, cross-continent massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) on one DVD. The special gold foil All-In-One packaging will carry a suggested retail price of $29.99.

FINAL FANTASY XI subscribers will receive their first 30 days of access without charge. In addition, the package will include a Vana'diel Buddy Pass which allows a friend to create an account and play the basic FINAL FANTASY XI game free for 30 days. Also included is an iTunes® Collector's Card for a free music download from the FINAL FANTASY XI Collection.
