FANS SPEAK: FINAL FANTASY® RADIO RETURNS TO AOL

Video Game Franchise Radio Station Back to AOL Radio by Popular Demand
LOS ANGELES (July 24, 2006) — Due to an outpouring of support from its fans, Square Enix, Inc. ("Square Enix"), the publisher of Square Enix™ products in North America, and AOL today announced the return of the FINAL FANTASY station exclusively to AOL Radio (http://www.aolradio.com). The station, which was a mainstay on AOL® Radio from November 2003 - April 2004, features tracks from legendary composers such as Nobuo Uematsu.

FINAL FANTASY radio will host a collection of tracks from the world's top-selling video game franchise, and is available to anyone for free on AOL Radio (http://www.aolradio.com). Additional information on the music of FINAL FANTASY can be found at http://na.square-enix.com/music.

"We feel so fortunate to have such a loyal following and want to give a huge 'thank you' for their efforts to bring back FINAL FANTASY radio," said Daishiro Okada, President and COO, Square Enix, Inc. "We are especially delighted to have FINAL FANTASY radio return on such a prestigious online destination as AOL and look forward to our future endeavors with them."

"Based on literally hundreds of passionate emails, we knew FINAL FANTASY radio was sorely missed, and we are very pleased to now be able to respond," said Jack Isquith, Executive Director of AOL Music. "Thanks to the fans of this classic game series, we are proud to have FINAL FANTASY rejoin fan-driven AOL Radio stations like All Metallica, Video Game Scores, Anime Radio, Japanese Pop, Trance & Shuffle in our line-up of 200+ unique AOL Radio stations."

The FINAL FANTASY station continues to complement other features for the popular gaming franchise on AOL, including a full breakdown of all FINAL FANTASY games as part of AOL Games' Anime Gaming Guide. The addition of the FINAL FANTASY station is independent from AOL Radio's Video Game Scores station, which was launched in large part due to the original FINAL FANTASY station's popularity.
