LOS ANGELES (February 3, 2009) — TAITO Corporation (TAITO®), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Square Enix Holdings Co., Ltd., has announced today that it will launch My Pet Shop™ for Nintendo DS™ in North America on March 10, 2009. Whether they've always wanted a dog or cat, or dreamed of a taking care of a rabbit or fox, My Pet Shop is cute and easy to play for children of all ages.
My Pet Shop teaches children to be organized, responsible and caring, while playing with a variety of adorable animals. Players live in the friendly village of Green Town where they help to run a pet store and learn how to take care of animals. They experience all the joys of pet ownership by feeding, grooming, teaching tricks and playing with a wide range of their favorite dog and cat breeds, as well as unique, harder-to-find animals like pandas and penguins.
A safe, fun game that's great for kids, My Pet Shop will be available exclusively for the Nintendo DS handheld system this March.
STORY
You have just moved from the hustle and bustle of the big city to Green Town, a quiet town filled with nature. Help your mom run her pet shop and learn to take care of all kinds of animals as you become friends with the other kids in town. But beware, as you search for animals on the outskirts of town, watch out for bees waiting to sting and snakes waiting to bite!
