SQUARE ENIX TO SHOWCASE SURPRISING MERCHANDISE LINEUP AT SAN DIEGO COMIC CON 2009

RESIDENT EVIL 5 Action Figures Make North American Debut

LOS ANGELES (July 22, 2009) — Square Enix, Inc., the publisher of Square Enix® interactive entertainment products in North America, announced today their merchandise lineup for San Diego Comic Con 2009. In addition to a display of upcoming products from the FINAL FANTASY® XIII, FRONT MISSION EVOLVED™, FULL METAL ALCHEMIST® and KINGDOM HEARTS lines, Square Enix will be debuting brand-new prototypes of RESIDENT EVIL® 5 products on the show floor.

SQUARE ENIX PRODUCTS’ exciting new entry in the PLAY ARTS -KAI- series is a collaboration with Capcom® based on RESIDENT EVIL 5, the latest installment in the genre-defining survival horror franchise. SQUARE ENIX PRODUCTS® uses its renowned artisan skills to craft these highly detailed figures that faithfully recreate characters from one of Capcom’s most popular titles.
