LOS ANGELES (August 23, 2011) — Square Enix, Inc., the publisher of SQUARE ENIX® interactive entertainment products in the Americas, today announced PARASITE EVE® 2 will be released for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and the PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system via the PlayStation®Network.
Originally released for the PlayStation® system in North America in 2000, PARASITE EVE 2, the critically acclaimed sequel to the popular PARASITE EVE, is an adventure role–playing game where players assume the role of Aya Brea, a female FBI agent who must stop the spread of a deadly species that threatens to eliminate the human race. The game offers real–time battle sequences unique to the RPG genre and a variety of brilliantly rendered settings among the gritty streets of Los Angeles.
