CHRONO TRIGGER NOW AVAILABLE ON THE PlayStation®Network



LOS ANGELES (October 4, 2011)Square Enix, Inc., the publisher of SQUARE ENIX® interactive entertainment products in the Americas, today announced the highly-acclaimed and enduringly popular RPG, CHRONO TRIGGER® will be released for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and the PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system via the PlayStation®Network.


Originally released in 1995 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System™, CHRONO TRIGGER was created by a talented development team — Yuji Horii (script creator), creator of the DRAGON QUEST® series, Akira Toriyama (character design), creator of Dragon Ball®, and the creators of FINAL FANTASY® — all of whom were key contributors to the game's success.


CHRONO TRIGGER has been hailed as one of the greatest games of all time by critics and fans alike. With a unique and multifaceted storyline, the game revolutionized the world of RPGs with never–before–seen features, including an unprecedented soundtrack and multiple endings determined by side quests and the player’s actions.
