SQUARE ENIX INC. APPOINTS KENJI HISATSUNE AS VICE PRESIDENT OF GLOBAL MOBILE CONTENT IN NORTH AMERICA

Former Namco Bandai Executive Brings More Than Twenty Years of Knowledge and Experience to Growing Square Enix Mobile Group

LOS ANGELES (May 4, 2012)Square Enix, Inc., the publisher of SQUARE ENIX® interactive entertainment products in the Americas, today announced the appointment of video game industry veteran Kenji Hisatsune, as vice president of global mobile content. Hisatsune will provide strategic direction in North America for the growing mobile space and oversee key relationships with major mobile platform partners.

Prior to joining Square Enix, Hisatsune served as the president and chief executive officer of Namco Bandai Games America, Inc. and Namco Networks America Inc. for nine years. Hisatsune maintained close relationships with many national carriers, mobile platform partners and leading video game publishers. He also managed relationships with large national accounts for the company’s console business.
