SQUARE ENIX TEAMS WITH ANKAMA

Tactical MMORPG WAKFU to Make North American Debut

LOS ANGELES (Sept. 3, 2010)Square Enix, Inc., the publisher of SQUARE ENIX® interactive entertainment products in North America, announced today that it has teamed with Ankama and will release the free-to-play MMORPG WAKFU for Windows® PC in North America. Featuring turn-based, tactical combat, players will choose from 12 character classes as they are whisked away to the vibrant, anime-style world of WAKFU.

SQUARE ENIX and SHANDA GAMES Announce Strategic Partnership

FINAL FANTASY comes to the Chinese Market for the First Time

Expanded Online Services to Launch with FINAL FANTASY XIV

The first title to benefit from Crysta is the new Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game FINAL FANTASY® XIV that launches tomorrow with a special Collector's Edition. From tomorrow, September 22, players of FINAL FANTASY XIV who have registered for a Square Enix account and who are residing in North America will be able to use Crysta to pay for FINAL FANTASY XIV subscriptions and security tokens. New services, titles and additional territories for Crysta will be revealed in future announcements.

SQUARE ENIX LAUNCHES THE FINAL FANTASY XIV COLLECTOR'S EDITION

Offering players early access to the game, this Collector's Edition also comes with other perks, including an in-game item, a behind-the-scenes DVD and more. With language support in Japanese, English, French and German, the adventure begins anew in the vast realm of Eorzea!



The FINAL FANTASY XIV COLLECTOR’S EDITION welcomes aspiring heroes and explorers alike with highly exclusive bonus items, including:

The riveting third-person shooter is now available on PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, and in stereoscopic 3D for Windows PC.



Developed in collaboration by Double Helix Games and Square Enix, the third-person shooter breaks the mold of the franchise and delivers an action-packed experience with the distinct aesthetic of the FRONT MISSION® universe. This newest addition to the series allows players to take on the role of Dylan Ramsey as he faces enemies after a terrorist attack turns the world in to a place of destruction, conspiracy and crumbling alliances. Players control giant, customizable, walking tanks known as wanzers, futuristic military weapons with exceptional speed, firepower and adaptability.

Story
